1. Application and Review

2. Initial Certification Audit – Stage 1
The audit team assesses the organization's readiness for the Stage 2 audit, reviewing relevant documented information and evaluating the conditions necessary to proceed.
3. Initial Certification Audit – Stage 2
The audit team evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the management system, verifying compliance with the applicable standard and the organization's ability to achieve its intended results.
Any identified nonconformities must be addressed in accordance with the applicable certification requirements.
4. Certification Decision
Following the review of the audit results, CERTIF makes an independent certification decision, ensuring separation between auditing and certification decision-making activities.
When the decision is favourable, a certificate is issued, identifying the applicable standard and certification scope.
5. Surveillance and Recertification
Management systems certification generally follows a three-year certification cycle.
Surveillance audits are carried out during this period to verify the continued conformity and effectiveness of the management system.
Before the certificate expires, a recertification audit is conducted to assess continued compliance and support the certification decision for a new cycle.
