Management Systems Certification CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE
CERTIFICATION AUDITIS AND ISSUE OF CERTIFICATE The methodology for granting certification of Management systems, after receiving and reviewing the application for certification is as follows:
After receiving the audit report, and taking into account the audit team evaluation CERTIF will request to the audited organization, in a defined period, the complementary information considered necessary and / or the plan of actions to implement with the aim to improve the performance of its management system. The certification decision is the responsibility of the CERTIF Commission Decision, based on an independent review of the audit results. This decision and its justification will be communicated by writing to the certificate holder. The certificate is issued if the decision is positive. Certificates issued for the certification of management systems are valid for a period of 3 (three) years and are reissued for equal periods those previously granted (recertification).SURVEILLANCE ACTIVITIES AND RECERTIFICATION The organizations to which was granting the certification to its management system and the right to use the Mark are subjected to surveillance activities, to evaluate if they remain the initial conditions that lead to the certification. Surveillance audits are on-site audits and include the conducting of an audit at least once a year. To proceed with the recertification is necessary to perform an on-site audit. CERTIF MARK – CERTIFIED ORGANIZATION CERTIF Mark–Certified Organization is registered in INPI (Portuguese Institute for Industrial Property). The marks granted by CERTIF for management systems are composed by the applicable standard plus the following mark.

CERTIF is a certification body prepared for offer to the market the certification of management systems in the scope of, among others, quality (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (OSHAS 18001) and food safety (ISO 22001), including HACCP.
